In Himachal Pradesh, polling will be held in a single phase on 12th November and counting of votes will take place on 8th December in 2022.
Notification for the 68-member state assembly will be issued on 17th October & 25th October will be the last date for filing nominations.
With the announcement of the elections, the model code of conduct has come into force.
Giving information, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced the election schedule. He said that more than 55 lakh people are eligible to vote in Himachal Pradesh.
