The Women’s Premier League cricket tournament begins in Mumbai from 4th March 2023. The final will be held in Mumbai on 26th March 2023.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India is organizing this league just like the Indian Premier League-IPL.
The first match of the competition will be between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians at DY Patil Stadium from 7.30 pm on 4th March 2023 Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur will be the captain of Mumbai Indians.
Smriti Mandhana will lead Royal Challengers Bangalore. Delhi Capitals will be led by Australia’s Meg Lanning and Gujarat Giants will be led by Beth Mooney. Australia’s wicketkeeper-batsman Alyssa Healy will lead the UP Warriors.
