In the year 2007, by passing a resolution by the United Nations, it was announced to celebrate World Social Justice Day on 20 February every year. Two years after this, World Social Justice Day was celebrated for the first time in the year 2009. To make World Social Justice Day a success, many countries together try to unite people divided in the name of unemployment, poverty, caste discrimination, gender and religion. In India too, there has been a law to give equal rights to people for centuries. For this, there are many provisions in the Indian constitution to eliminate social inequality.
