On October 27, 2024, India’s Yashaswini Ghorpade and Krittwika Roy won the women’s doubles title at the WTT Feeder Cagliari table tennis tournament in Italy. They defeated South Korea’s Yoo Siwoo and Kim Haeun 3-1 in the final match. Earlier in the tournament, the Indian team, seeded second, won against Italy’s Arianna Barani and Maria Picu 3-0 in the first round and Japan’s Sachi Aoki and Sakura Yokoi 3-0 in the quarter-finals.
In the semi-final, they defeated Germany’s Sophia Klee and Franziska Schreiner 3-1 to reach the final. Additionally, Yashaswini Ghorpade reached the mixed doubles semi-finals with Harmeet Desai, but they lost 3-0 to Italy’s John Oyebode and Gaia Monfardini.
