Chasing 151 runs, Australia reached 153/3 in 17.1 overs, with Beth Mooney scoring 64 runs and Phoebe Litchfield adding 48 runs. Earlier, England posted 150/4 in 20 overs, led by captain Nat Sciver-Brunt’s unbeaten 58 and Freya Kemp’s 44.
With this victory, Australia secured a record-extending seventh ICC Women’s T20 World Cup title. Beth Mooney was named both Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament (Series).
