Defending champions Argentina defeated England 2–1 in the second semi-final of the FIFA World Cup 2026 on 15 July 2026 to book their place in the final against Spain. The match was played at Atlanta Stadium, USA.
England took the lead in the second half, but Argentina made a late comeback to secure victory and keep alive their hopes of defending the title won at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Earlier, Spain defeated France 2–0 in the first semi-final on 14 July 2026 to reach the final.
