India Wins SAFF Women’s Championship 2026, Clinches Record Sixth Title

India won the SAFF Women’s Championship 2026 title by defeating defending champions Bangladesh 3-1 in the final played at Madgaon, Goa, on 6 June 2026. With this victory, the Blue Tigresses lifted the trophy after a gap of seven years and secured a record sixth SAFF Women’s Championship title.

India took the lead through Pyari Xaxa, while Ritu Porna Chakma equalized for Bangladesh before halftime. In the second half, goals from Sanfida and Linda Kom helped India dominate the match and seal a memorable 3-1 win. Throughout the tournament, the Indian team displayed impressive form and finished as deserving champions.
