India’s First 14D Virtual Zoo Inaugurated in Indore, Madhya Pradesh

India’s first 14D Virtual Zoo has been inaugurated at Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on 16 August 2026. The facility was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and developed at a cost of about ₹4.5 crore under the PPP model.

The 14D cinema uses sensory effects such as moving seats, water sprays, wind, fog, bubbles and vibrations, while the 360° virtual safari creates an immersive jungle experience through digital technology.

The project aims to combine wildlife education, entertainment and conservation awareness, while also boosting tourism and generating revenue for the Indore Municipal Corporation.
