India’s Kidambi Srikanth won the silver medal at the US Open Badminton 2026 (BWF Super 300) after finishing runner-up in the men’s singles final on 29 June 2026. He lost to Su Li-yang of Chinese Taipei 15–21, 21–16, 9–21 in a three-game match lasting about 1 hour 9 minutes.
This was Srikanth’s first BWF World Tour final of 2026 and his best performance of the season. On his way to the final, he defeated Malaysia’s Lee Zii Jia and Japan’s Yudai Okimoto. Despite the defeat, the runner-up finish marked a strong comeback for the former world No. 1.
