Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’ on 2 August 2026. The campaign aims to create a drug-free India by encouraging young people to stay away from substance abuse and promoting a healthy, confident and responsible youth population.
More than 1 crore young citizens from over 28,000 locations joined the launch and took an anti-drug pledge. The campaign will run for 100 weeks, with activities organised every Sunday.
