National Sports Day 2026 will be observed from 28–30 August as a three-day nationwide campaign themed “Tribute, Play, and Move,” commemorating Major Dhyan Chand’s birth anniversary on 29 August and promoting sports, fitness, and youth participation.

- Participants: Schools, colleges, universities and Fit India-registered institutions.
