Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY):
- Launched in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic under Atmanirbhar Bharat package.
- Extended for five years from January 1, 2024, at a cost of ₹11.80 lakh crore.
- More than 81 crore beneficiaries will receive free food grains monthly under NFSA.
