PM Modi Two-Day Visit to Mauritius from March 11 to 12, 2025

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day state visit to Mauritius from March 11 to 12, 2025. This visit is at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Navin Ramgoolam, and will see Modi attending the National Day celebrations of Mauritius on March 12 as the chief guest.

During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will call on the President of Mauritius and hold wide-ranging talks with Prime Minister Ramgoolam. The visit underscores the close and longstanding relationship between India and Mauritius, rooted in shared historical, cultural, and people-to-people ties.

A contingent of Indian defence forces and an Indian Navy ship will also participate in the National Day celebrations, highlighting the strong defence ties between the two nations. Additionally, Modi will inaugurate the Civil Service College and the Area Health Centre, both built with India’s grant assistance.
