The chess world witnessed a historic moment on March 7, 2025, as 18-year-old Indian Grandmaster Pranav Venkatesh claimed the FIDE World Junior Championship 2025 title in Montenegro.
With this outstanding victory, Pranav became the fourth Indian player to win the prestigious World Junior title, following in the footsteps of Viswanathan Anand, Pentala Harikrishna, and Abhijeet Gupta.
