Senior journalist Rajat Sharma has been unanimously re-elected as the President of the News Broadcasters & Digital Association (NBDA) for the 2026–27 term on 25 September 2026. Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of India TV and host of Aap Ki Adalat, has previously headed the organisation when it was known as the News Broadcasters Association (NBA).
The NBDA, established in 2007 as NBA and renamed in 2021, represents India’s TV and digital news broadcasters and promotes ethical journalism, self-regulation and responsible news broadcasting.
