India secured which position at the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2026 held in Bucaramanga, Colombia?

Five Indian students won gold medals at the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2026, held in Bucaramanga, Colombia, from 4–12 July 2026. With this outstanding performance, India secured the Joint First position along with Russia, China, Kazakhstan, South Korea, and Taiwan, among 381 participants from 87 countries.
4–12 जुलाई 2026 के दौरान कोलंबिया के बुकारामांगा में आयोजित 56वें अंतरराष्ट्रीय भौतिकी ओलंपियाड (IPhO) 2026 में भारत के पाँच छात्रों ने स्वर्ण पदक जीते। इस शानदार प्रदर्शन के साथ भारत ने रूस, चीन, कज़ाख़स्तान, दक्षिण कोरिया और ताइवान के साथ संयुक्त प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। इस प्रतियोगिता में 87 देशों के 381 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया।
