The New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 will begin on February 1 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The theme of this year’s fair is “We the People of India,” marking 75 years of the Republic of India.
The nine-day event will be inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu. Yuvraj Malik, Director of the National Book Trust, mentioned that Russia is the focus country for this year’s fair, with participation from over 50 countries, including France, Argentina, Spain, Colombia, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar. The fair will feature nearly 2,000 publishers and 1,000 speakers.
