He retained the top spot for the second consecutive year, earning $215 million in wages from Saudi club Al-Nassr and $45 million from endorsements.
The top five highest-paid athletes are:

- Tyson Fury ($147 million)
- Lionel Messi ($135 million)
- LeBron James ($133.2 million)
The top 100 athletes collectively earned $6.2 billion, with $4.8 billion from salaries/prizes and $1.4 billion from endorsements. However, no female athlete made the list.
The highest-earning female athlete, Coco Gauff, earned $30.4 million, falling short of the 100th-ranked athlete, NFL quarterback Daniel Jones ($37.5 million).
