The ninth edition of the India-Brazil-South Africa Maritime Exercise IBSAMAR 2026 concluded on 21 October 2026 at Simon’s Town, South Africa.
The ten-day exercise involved the Indian, Brazilian and South African Navies in harbour and sea phases, featuring professional interactions and maritime activities to enhance interoperability, strengthen operational cooperation and promote mutual understanding.
The exercise reaffirmed the three countries’ commitment to maritime security and safe, secure and open seas based on a rules-based international order.
