India’s indigenous AK-203 assault rifle, named ‘Sher’, is set to be delivered to the Indian Army soon. Manufactured at the Korwa facility in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, the rifle is being produced by Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited (IRRPL) under an India-Russia technology-transfer arrangement.
