- Investment: Approx. ₹11,200 crore for Phase I.
- Capacity:
- Current: 12 million passengers annually
- Future: Up to 70 million passengers per year by 2050 (multi-runway expansion).
- Developer: Yamuna International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG) under PPP model.
- Facilities: 3,900-metre runway, wide-body aircraft handling, modern terminal with Swiss engineering + Indian design.
- Largest Airport in UP: Will surpass Lucknow and Varanasi airports.
- Second International Airport in NCR: After Delhi IGI, easing congestion.
