How much annual financial assistance is provided to eligible farmer families under PM-KISAN?

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, eligible farmer families receive ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each, directly transferred to their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). On 31 July 2026, the Union Cabinet approved the continuation of the PM-KISAN scheme for the period 2026–27 to 2030–31.
प्रधानमंत्री किसान सम्मान निधि (PM-KISAN) योजना के तहत पात्र किसान परिवारों को प्रतिवर्ष ₹6,000 की वित्तीय सहायता ₹2,000 की तीन समान किस्तों में सीधे उनके बैंक खातों में प्रत्यक्ष लाभ अंतरण (DBT) के माध्यम से दी जाती है। 31 जुलाई 2026 को केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने इस योजना को 2026–27 से 2030–31 तक जारी रखने की मंजूरी दी।
