Indian Grandmaster Arjun Erigaisi won the Jerusalem Masters 2025 chess title on 3 December 2025 after defeating former World Champion Viswanathan Anand in an all-Indian final. The championship was decided through a blitz tie-break, following drawn rapid games.
En route to the title, Arjun defeated Russian Grandmaster Peter Svidler in the semifinals, while Anand advanced to the final after beating reigning World Blitz Champion Ian Nepomniachtchi.
