India Wins 5 Medals at 11th Sanda World Cup 2026

India delivered an impressive performance at the 11th Sanda World Cup held in Macau on 15 May 2026, winning a total of 5 medals2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze.

The Indian women athletes starred in the tournament by winning both gold medals:

  • Shivani won gold in the women’s 75kg category after defeating her Russian opponent.
  • Aparna secured gold in the 52kg category.

In the men’s section:

  • Kushal Kumar of the Indian Air Force won a silver medal in the 48kg category.
  • Kareena Kaushik and Sagar Dhaiya won bronze medals.
