The Indian women athletes starred in the tournament by winning both gold medals:
- Shivani won gold in the women’s 75kg category after defeating her Russian opponent.
- Aparna secured gold in the 52kg category.
In the men’s section:
- Kushal Kumar of the Indian Air Force won a silver medal in the 48kg category.
- Kareena Kaushik and Sagar Dhaiya won bronze medals.
