Who has been appointed as the 29th Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of India, effective from 31 October 2026?

The Government has appointed Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit as the 29th Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) in the rank of Air Chief Marshal, effective from 31 October 2026. He will succeed Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, who retires on the same day.
सरकार ने एयर मार्शल आशुतोष दीक्षित को 31 अक्टूबर 2026 से एयर चीफ मार्शल के पद पर पदोन्नत करते हुए भारत का 29वां वायुसेना प्रमुख (CAS) नियुक्त किया है। वह एयर चीफ मार्शल अमर प्रीत सिंह का स्थान लेंगे, जो उसी दिन सेवानिवृत्त होंगे।
