Air Marshal Tejpal Singh, AVSM, VM assumed the appointment of Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (DCAS) on 1 August 2026. He succeeded Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti, who retired on 31 July 2026 after completing 39 years of distinguished service in the Indian Air Force.
