Asian Cricket Council (ACC) president Jay Shah announced the schedule for the Asia Cup 2023 on 20 July 2023.
- The tournament will begin on 30th August.
- The event will feature six teams divided into two groups of three each.
- The matches will be held across four venues in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
- Group A includes co-hosts Pakistan, India, and Nepal.
- Group B consists of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.
- The opening match will be between Pakistan and Nepal on 30th August in Multan, Pakistan.
- India’s first match will be against Pakistan on 2nd September in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
- The final match of the tournament is scheduled for 17th September in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
