Indian chess player Grand Master Koneru Humpy secured the silver medal in the women’s division of the FIDE World Blitz Chess Championship 2023, which took place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan on December 30, 2023.
Humpy concluded the tournament with an impressive 12.5 points, trailing only by half a point behind the champion, Bibisara Balabayeva of Kazakhstan.
