- As part of an event to identify India’s defense manufacturing capabilities, the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka is organizing a seminar and exhibition.
- India Sri Lanka Defense Symposium cum Exhibition was held at Taj Samudra in Colombo on 7th June.
- The objective of the event is to promote a stable and peaceful Indian Ocean region, which is in line with India’s vision of security and development for all in the region. The symposium seeks to identify areas of cooperation for economic revival while strengthening the capacity building of the Sri Lankan Armed Forces.
- The grand symposium will be accompanied by a comprehensive exhibition showcasing the capabilities and capabilities of both the countries in defense equipment manufacturing. The exhibition will be open to the public, giving them a first-hand experience of the various defense equipment on display.
