The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) plans to introduce advanced Route Patrolling Vehicles (RPVs) named Rajmarg Saathi to improve highway safety. These RPVs will inspect National Highway stretches and respond to emergencies.
The vehicles will feature AI-enabled dashboard cameras and closed cabinets for efficient emergency response. They are equipped with advanced communication and safety tools to minimize traffic disruptions, enhance road safety, and improve the overall experience for highway users.
