Anish Dayal Singh, 1988-batch IPS (Manipur cadre) and former DG of CRPF & ITBP, has been appointed as Deputy NSA under Ajit Doval.
- He brings nearly 30 years of IB experience, including as Special Director.
- Will handle internal security affairs – J&K, Left-Wing Extremism, Northeast insurgency, cybersecurity, and counter-terrorism inputs.
- Joins NSA team with Rajinder Khanna (Addl NSA), T.V. Ravichandran (Dy NSA), and Pawan Kapoor (Dy NSA).
