A contingent of the Indian Air Force (IAF) has arrived at Al Dhafra Air Base in the UAE to participate in Exercise Desert Flag-10. The multinational air combat exercise is hosted by the UAE Air Force and includes participation from the air forces of Australia, Bahrain, France, Germany, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Republic of Korea, Turkey, UAE, the United Kingdom, and the United States, along with India.
The exercise commenced on April 21, 2025, and will continue until May 8, 2025. Its primary objective is to conduct complex fighter engagements and promote the exchange of operational knowledge and best practices among some of the world’s most advanced air forces.
