Explosions in Lebanon: Pagers and Radios Targeted

On September 17, 2024, a series of explosions in Lebanon targeted handheld pagers and radios used by Hezbollah members. The blasts occurred in places like Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, and southern Lebanon, killing at least 20 people and injuring over 450.

Hezbollah blamed Israel, but Israel has not responded. This has increased tensions, especially as Israel and Hezbollah have been engaged in cross-border warfare since the Gaza conflict escalated last October.
