India’s Lakshya Sen finished runner-up in the men’s singles at the All England Open Badminton Championships 2026 after losing to Lin Chun‑yi in the final held in Birmingham on 8 March 2026.
Lin Chun-yi won the title in straight games (21-15, 22-20) to secure his first All England Open crown. Sen fought strongly in the second game but could not convert crucial points at the end.
Despite the defeat, Lakshya Sen had an impressive tournament run, defeating several top players to reach the final and finishing as India’s best performer in the tournament.
