The annual Shri Amarnath Ji pilgrimage is proceeding smoothly in the south Kashmir Himalayas. The pilgrimage will conclude on Shravan Poornima, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan.
By July 8, 24, a total of 207,016 pilgrims participating since the Yatra started on June 29, 2024. Pilgrims are arriving via the Baltal-Sonamarg and Nunwan-Pahalgam tracks, as well as through special helicopter services. Authorities have made all necessary arrangements for the convenience of the pilgrims.
