Scheme Name : STARS
The Strengthening Teaching-Learning and Results for States (STARS) project was approved by the cabinet in October 2020, to be implemented as a centrally sponsored scheme.
Date of Launch
After signing the loan agreement, the STARS project became effective on 23 February 2021 for a period of five years i.e. till FY 2024-25.
Objective
The STARS program is designed around holistic education, with a focus on elements of the plan that will directly support increased school learning.
The STARS project has been implemented in the six identified states of Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala.
