Ganga and Yamuna rivers plains are the most fertile soils deltas in the whole regions. Rivers are god and bread weavers for this regions. Ganga and Yamuna both originates from the glaciers in the Uttarakhand. Yamuna merges in Ganga in Prayagraj living behind a beautiful scenery of their different coloured soil and water merging into one. Maheshwari Chauhan secured a Paris 2024 quota for India in Women’s skeet with a Silver medal in the shotgun Olympic qualification championship at Doha, Qatar.

  • Only four out of six shooters were eligible to earn the quota in the final held on April 28, 2024.
  • Assem Orynbay of Kazakhstan crashed out, and Rigina Meftakhetdinova of Azerbaijan settled for sixth place, confirming the two Olympic quotas for Maheshwari and qualification leader Victoria Larsson of Sweden.
  • This marked India’s 21st Olympic quota in shooting and the fifth in shotgun events.
