- The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and the Indian Navy on April 27, 2023 successfully conducted the maiden test flight of ‘ADC-150’ from IL-38SD aircraft off the coast of Goa.
- ‘ADC-150’ is an indigenously designed and developed air droppable container with 150 kg payload capacity.
- It has been tested to enhance naval operational logistics capabilities by quickly reacting to meet the requirement of critical engineering stores in moments of distress to ships deployed more than 2,000 km from the coast.
