The Online Common Entrance Exam for 2023-24 recruitment of Agniveers into the Army has started on 18 April 2023.
The exam is being conducted at 375 Examination Centers in 176 pan-India locations, and it will continue till the 26th of April.
The Indian Army has introduced a Computer Based Online Exam as the first step of a transformed recruitment procedure for Agniveers, Junior Commissioned Officers and other categories.
Education Consultancy Services India Limited, a Mini Ratna Company under the Ministry of Education, is providing assistance for the online exam.
The recruitment process will be carried out in three stages:
- Stage one: Online Common Entrance Exam for all candidates who have registered and applied online.
- Stage two: Recruitment rallies for shortlisted candidates from June 2023 onwards in phases, where they will undergo Physical Fitness Test and Physical Measurement Test.
- Stage three: Medical Test for selected candidates.
The modified recruitment system is designed to make the recruitment process more streamlined, transparent, and optimally exploit the latest IT infrastructure.
