WHO : Mpox no longer a global health emergency

First Airbus C295 for India successfully completes its maiden flight.

  • India’s first Airbus C295 successfully completed its maiden flight, marking a significant milestone towards its delivery by the second half of 2023.

ASEAN-India Maritime Exercise – Sea Phase of 2023.

  • Israel’s Foreign Minister Eli Cohen has arrived in New Delhi on a three-day visit to India. Mr. Eli Cohen will hold talks with External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar at Hyderabad House on 9 May, after which he will proceed to Teen Murti-Haifa Chowk to lay wreath.
  • According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Mr. Cohen will leave for Agra on May 10 evening to attend an event. He will return to Delhi the same day after his engagements in Agra.
  • He will go to Mumbai to attend an event on 11th May. He will return to Israel on 11th May.
  • The Israeli foreign minister’s visit comes in preparation for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to India later this year. Israeli Economy Minister Nir Barkat visited India in April with a large business delegation.
